About the Role

Full-time Temporary Position – Opportunity for Permanent Employment

We are looking for a security guard with the function of action/fire protection leader in Ludvika for a full-time temporary position until 31/8 with a good chance of extension.

As a fire protection leader, you will play an important role in our responsibility to protect our customers' property. In your role, you will be crucial in our customer's protection. Through your work, you will protect buildings and premises from fire, theft, and damage.

Examples of Job Duties

• manage operational and fire alarms
• issue permits for hot work
• be the first responder in medical emergencies
• conduct security checks at customer sites (e.g., ensuring alarms are activated and windows are closed)
• ensure that unauthorized persons do not enter customer premises
• escort emergency services during responses
• inspect and replace fire protection equipment.

In addition to thorough training, you will also undergo several courses to prepare you to work independently. We offer you a varied role where no day is the same. Are you interested in technology and ready for quick interventions? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We are looking for two people; one will work daytime on a rotating 5-2 schedule, and the other will work nighttime on a rotating 5-4 schedule. You will work between 06-18 or 18-06.

Requirements

The role requires that you have approved high school grades in Swedish and English. Since the assignment involves driving a vehicle, we also require that you have a valid B driver's license. We offer comprehensive training and take great care to ensure you learn all aspects of the role, but we also expect that you have experience working as a security guard or in professional roles related to fire protection, such as facility manager or systematic fire protection work.

Specifically Requested Requirements

• approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
• previous experience in the security industry or other professions within the fire segment.

In the job, it is important that you have good physical ability so that you can perform foot patrols. Since the building we work in is tall, you will also need to go up and down stairs. Work at height may also occur.
